Pray for our family and the island nation of Japan
Our family is 20 days from departing the USA! We have a lot of mixed emotions, but overall we are excited! It will be an adjustment and we will miss many comforts we take for granted like central air or the convenience of drying our clothes in a dryer, free wi-fi in public spaces. You know, first-world problems. Oooh and gas prices, having to pay the equivalent of $5 a gallon!
Community is what we will miss most! There are so many relationships we cherish. Technology is great but there is nothing like a face-to-face encounter, a smile, a warm embrace with friends and family. My kids being spoiled with affection by so many…
Megumi’s grandmother (oba-chan in Japanese) passed this week. Emotions will be flying when we arrive at our new home (obachan’s home) sorting through her personal effects and making room for our family to be caretakers of the property.
God has prepared the way for us in so many ways…
We are truly blessed and we look forward to sharing our family and our home with everyone who walks through our doors.
Support us by joining us as financial partners
We are so thankful for the financial support we have received thus far and we are close to reaching our goal of being fully funded.
Being fully funded means our family gets to run after our local community and the island nation of Japan full-time devoting all our energy and time to loving and serving the Japanese where they are.
With our current financial partners and one-time donations, we are currently at 45% of our monthly budget of $5,000.
What would being fully funded look like?
- 100 households contributing $25 monthly
OR
- 50 households contributing $50 monthly
That’s it, simple right? We believe so! Would you consider being one our financial partners by setting up a recurring gift today?
Follow Us to witness God at work
Once we arrive in Japan, we will be doing most of our quick updates/photos/videos, using our Facebook Page at Church Plant Japan. Please be sure to go there and “Like” and “Follow”!
Gratefully Yours,
Team Adams
