We have much to be thankful for as we celebrate our One Year Anniversary with Church Plant Japan!
Wow, it’s hard to imagine that one year ago, we landed in Tokyo and began our journey south (by car) to Kagoshima, Japan. God’s provision, through your prayers, encouragement and sacrificial giving of time and financial resources, is what sustained us through our first year on mission. We are so grateful for the partnership we have had in 2018 bringing hope to the Japanese. Happy Anniversary to ALL of US!
Last week we celebrated the birth of our Lord and Savior for the first time away from our family in the U.S.. It was different, but it was good! We had Meg’s parents over for Christmas Eve Dinner. This was our first Christmas with Meg’s parents since Meg and I started dating in 2003. After opening presents Christmas morning, we made Christmas goodies and delivered to our neighbors.
Tonight, we will spend some time going through pictures from the year and reflecting on how God has blessed us through those moments. We are also anxious to kick off 2019 with the launch of our English House Ministry on January 7th. The week before Christmas, we held trial lessons and 100% of those who came will be starting.
