Tickets for US Travel Booked
For the first time in over 4 years we are traveling back to the US and we are bringing 9 members of our home church in Japan with us! That’s right and we want to invite you in impacting the life of one of our Japanese friends by being a host family welcoming them into your home and doing life with your family through our inaugural mission: Global Impact: Japan from July 30th – August 14th.
WE ARE IN NEED OF 6 MORE HOST FAMILIES!!
Through Global Impact: Japan you will be able to impact a life from halfway around the world from the convenience of your own home co-laboring with us allowing our friends to experience Jesus. It’s simple, welcome one of our friends from Japan into your family life and share the great city of Cincinnati and surrounding areas. Join in a couple group outings (not required but highly encouraged) and engage them in the weekend church service, small group activities and/or volunteer functions.
We request your prayers lining up host families for all our friends, planning for various activities/events and our overall travel.
Ukrainian Refugee Family
to join us in Kagoshima
On April 25th, we were approached by another missionary couple north of us asking if we would be the guarantors and supporters of a family that had served in Fukuoka, Japan as short-term missionaries with a missionary team from Ukraine 4 years ago. We had met this team and have been in communication and praying for this family ever since the start of the Russian invasion. Through much conversation, consideration, and prayer we said “yes”. The Morozov’s along with Aleksander’s parents will be making their way across the Ukrainian border into Slovakia and then journey to the nearest Japanese Consulate office to apply for their special visa. We are humbled and honored in the opportunity to engage our Japanese church community in international mission work in a local setting.
We ask for prayer over the Morozov’s journey that will take many weeks before they arrive in Kagoshima and for capacity surrounding all the prep in paperwork, financial support, house hunting, translation and daily life support our church family and extended community will provide.
NOTE: We request that the family’s name and location not be shared with outside sources at this time. Japan is new to the world stage of accepting refugees and naturally the media is interested.
Our immediate financial need will be purchasing a reliable vehicle to accommodate 4 adults and 2 children and major appliances for their home (i.e. refrigerator, washer, air conditioner x 2). We estimate to be $20,000.
Would you consider helping the Morozov Family settle in Japan?

CASA Play Area Land Purchased
March of last year we received permission to use this land adjacent to our home church for our after school ministry, CASA (Community After School Academy), in hopes of being in a position to purchase the land in the future. A little over a year later we can call this property ours thanks to Crossroads Church donating the amount of our downpayment and an interest free 10 year loan through another source. This space is used Monday – Friday by 1st and 2nd graders that attend CASA and on Saturdays by our Church Kids Club.
This outreach ministry has shown to be a great way to love on kids in our community and an avenue for reaching families in our community. Please pray for the hearts and minds of our CASA kids and breakthrough opportunities to engage their families.
God At Work
It is through His power working in all of us that has brought these blessings upon our mission and ministry in Japan and eyes are seeing His work, hearts are experiencing His love, and people are receiving His invitation to an everlasting relationship! To God be the glory!
Additional Prayer Requests:
Chloe recently had her eyes check because she stated she had trouble seeing the board at school as of late. When they used lenses to correct her sight it did not improve meaning she doesn’t need glasses but something else is going on. The eye doctor seems to think it is stress related. She received eye drops to relax her eye muscles and we are back for a follow-up in a week. We would love for you all to pray over Chloe’s eyes that her vision be restored and totally healed as well as for Meg and I to be in tune to Chloe’s feelings to ensure we are not overlooking anything where her emotions are concerned.
