Greetings from Haneda Airport in Tokyo, Japan! We arrived a few hours ago and are waiting to board our flight to Chicago. So here is a quick update and an invite!

We already started the celebration!

Last Saturday evening (July 23rd), we held our last church gathering to celebrate how God brought our community together and most recently brought the Morozov family to our community allowing our church community to be the hands and feet of Jesus AND invite others to participate. Earlier in the afternoon we assisted the Morozov family in hosting other Ukrainian Refugees for a luncheon at their house and we were able to present a donation to each family. A journalist from the local newspaper spent the entire day with us to observe how we (the church) does community. We also had friends from the U.S. that financially partner with us that happen to visit and stay the night and to top it off, we got connected with a Japanese gentleman with YWAM from Tokyo that happened to be visiting family in Kagoshima join us. We had 39 people at church that evening. Do you know the average church size in Japan is 35! Not that we are focused on numbers but how cool is that. The worship, Kana’s story, the new guests, the special guests – for us it was a send off planned by God himself! We were overjoyed!

And now here we are on our way back to visit our community we love and left almost 5 years ago not knowing what to expect but knew God had a plan and we ran on trust and hope. Now we rest and share the fruit of the labor our partnership forged orchestrated by our loving God!

For those in and around the NKY/Cincy area, we invite you to come celebrate what God has done, is doing and will do in the years to come. We are bringing our friends to you so come meet us on Wednesday, August 10th at 7PM Crossroads Florence Chapel!
