Global Impact Japan
An adventure in the comfort of your own home!
On July 31st, three Japanese Elementary age children (ages: 10 y/o boy, and two 8 y/o girls) will land at Cincinnati Airport. One has a family that will be there to welcome them into their home and family life for 2 weeks. We are IN NEED OF TWO FAMILIES to receive the other two children. Our hope is that these families reside in Northern Kentucky for easy accessibility for a couple of group outings scheduled. BUT we are open to those outside of Northern Kentucky as well.
Why is this such a big deal?
Both, Japanese and American cultures are uniquely different. Our Japanese kids live in a society where conformity dictates how they think, feel and act. Everyday life is extremely structured without a lot of room for freedom for creative expression! For a majority of kids in Japan, they rarely experience fun as an entire family due to the father’s commitment to his company.
By being in the U.S. and in your home, they get to experience the freedom to be an individual – to think, feel and act freely in a safe, loving environment. They get to witness and be a part of a home where love is freely expressed in ways they have never seen or experienced before. We know that the lives of these children will be greatly impacted and you and your family will also be forever changed through this experience.

Prayer Requests
Safe travels for our 3 homestay children. Two more families to say “YES” to hosting. For our homestay kids to feel safe and feel the freedom to discover more about who they are and to connect well with the families they get to interact with for their two week stay.
