brothers and sisters in Christ.
The CHURCH in Japan has persevered through a culture that is a stronghold against the spiritual freedom that only Jesus can offer. Most churches have a membership averaging 35 and a majority of the church pastors are pushing 60 years of age. We have met many in their 70s pastoring churches while many churches struggle without a church pastor. With the combination of the aging population and the lack of outreach ministries or what we call “Being the Church” is putting the church at a negative growth rate.
We are humbled by many God has called to lead churches throughout Japan and we want to learn, encourage and support our brothers and sisters throughout Japan wherever they are however we can.
This is how we church.
